American engineers to create the world's fastest car has run as fast . It can run at a speed of 270.49 meters per hour .
According to drive.com , the American company Hennessey Venom GT took a test drive of the world's fastest car running in Kennedy Space Centre and surprisingly, the car ran at a speed of 270.49 meters per hour (435.31 km/h).
Venom GT has a 7.0 liter 927 KW Twin Turbo V8 engine.
The Hennessey Venom GT is an American sports car manufactured by Texas-based Hennessey Performance Engineering.It was revealed on March 29, 2010.
The first record of being the fastest car was held by Bugatti Veyron Super Sport car. Bugatti has a maximum speed of 431 kilometers per hour and was included in the Guinness Book of World Records .
Brian Smith, Director of Miller Motorsport, experienced race driver and a former Michelin tire test engineer,drove the Venom GT to its record speed.The run was performed at the Kennedy Space Center on the 3.2-mile Space Shuttle landing runway.
