IIT MADRAS:-

Indian Institute of Technology Madras is one among the foremost institutes of national importance in higher technological education, basic and applied research. In 1956, the German Government offered technical assistance for establishing an institute of higher education in engineering in India. The first Indo-German agreement in Bonn, West Germany for the establishment of the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras was signed in 1959.

IIT HYDERABAD :-

IIT Hyderabad started on 18 August 2008 from a temporary campus at Ordnance Factory Medak, Eddumailaram village,while the permanent campus in Kandi being constructed. It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011.

IIT BOMBAY :

IIT Bombay, the second in the chain of IITs, was set up in 1958. It was the first IIT to be set up with foreign assistance. The funds came from UNESCO in roubles from the Soviet Union. In 1961, the Parliament decreed IITs as 'Institutes of National Importance'.

IIT BHUBNESHWAR :

Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is an "engineering and technology" higher education institute, located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011.

IIT KHARAGPUR :

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is a public engineering, management and law institution established by the government of India in 1951.The first of the IITs to be established, it is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the government of India.The motto of IIT Kharagpur is "Yoga Karmashu Kaushalam" (योगः कर्मसु कौशलम् in Sanskrit).The motto literally translates to "Excellence in action is Yoga" essentially implying that doing your work well is yoga.

IIT INDORE :

Indian Institute of Technology Indore , located in Madhya Pradesh, is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2009.The institution started functioning from 2009-10 in a temporary campus at Institute of Engineering and Technology of Indore University under mentorship of IIT Bombay.

IIT GANDHINAGAR :

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (hereafter IITGN) was founded in the year 2008. IITGN is in the process of building its permanent campus in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, a city that expresses the state’s vision of modernity.

IIT JODHPUR :

The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur represents a distinctive culture of engineering and science founded in 2008. IIT Jodhpur functions through centres of excellence with innovative curriculum design, interdisciplinary research and thought leadership, delivering to society leaders who are entrepreneurial and well-rounded.The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur focuses on imparting education that prepares students toward entrepreneurship and public service.

IIT DELHI :

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is a public engineering institution located in Delhi, India. It is one of the IITs along with other Indian Institutes of Technology institutions in India , founded in 1961.

IIT ROORKEE :

Indian Institute of Technology - Roorkee is among the foremost of institutes of national importance in higher technological education and in engineering, basic and applied research. The Institute has completed 150th year of its existence in October 1996. On September 21, 2001, an Ordinance issued by the Government of India declared it as the nation's seventh Indian Institute of Technology.
