FRIENDS are the If only it was possible to transcend the barrier between real and reel, we’d have been lining up with friendship bands already.
From the adorable Sukhi to the brooding Karan to their feisty ringleader – DJ’s gang at the University of Delhi seemed to live, eat and breathe fun and we could honestly kill for admission to their masti ki paathshala.
From forgoing their exams for each others’ parents to remaining glued to your bedside should you ever be daft enough to dive out of the Dean’s window – There’s nothing that Rancho, Farhan & Raju won’t do for their friends. Now, we don’t mean to start any trouble, but friends who put their own lives in jeopardy steal exam papers for you? These guys are keepers, all right.
Sure, they graduated and grew old but where they ever actually grew up is debatable. Tomboyish, feisty, shy, flirty, pretty – Their group had all of it and more, topped with one huge slice of fun.
Not only are they incredibly hot to look at, (Far be it from us to turn down eye candy) but having Arjun, Kabir & Imraan means that your bachelor trip is going to enter another dimension of awesome altogether. Where and how soon can we sign up?
Sure, their little clique ultimately fell apart due to the writer’s insistence to ruin the magic of their friendship with a mundane second half, but it takes only one rendition of Tumhi Ho Bandhu & Daaru Desi to remind you why the three of them made an awesome team in the first place. Crazy makeup sessions & goofy videos, here we come.
They are crazy, they are adventurous and when the time comes for your wedding, they will even put together a mean sangeet performance. There are good college friends, there are cool college friends and then there are these fousr guys. Consider us sold.
Sure, they fell apart but they also found their way back to each other in the end, and we want the members of the Magik band on our speed dial for reminding us to toast friendship in all its imperfect glory.

Rahul, Anjali and Tina – college romance, friendship, love and heartbreak. The film had it all, but in the end it was their deep friendship that got them back together. The movie did make Friendship Day more popular amongst college goers.
