Yes , India is a democratic country , everyone is free to choose his or her career but one thing the Indian Government need to watch over is entering the person in politics of India because the persons in politics will run the country either directly or indirectly.
Most of our politicians are uneducated and presently are at the sound position in political department of India. Isn't it will prove a blunder for the future of the country some or the other day...???
Here in this article we are covering 10 such politicians of India who are poorly educated and the system of India Politics :-
1. Rabri Devi:
Married at the age of 14, Rabri Devi has never had any formal education. She was a housewife and a mother until she was dragged into politics by her husband Lalu Prasad Yadav in 1997. With no experience or education, she became the Chief Minister of Bihar, and today is a member of the Bihar legislative council representing Rashtriya Janata Dal.
2. Gulzar Singh:
A Cabinet Minister from the state of Punjab, Gulzar Singh is only an undergraduate. He resigned from the cabinet after his alleged involvement in the Border Area Development Scam but was re-inducted into the cabinet later.
3. Phoolan Devi:
The former dacoit never went to school and was forced into marriage to a much older man when she was very young. After she surrendered and was released on parole, she joined the Samaj wadi party and became a member of parliament from Mirzapur. She was shot by an assassin outside her residence in Delhi.
4. Vijayakant:
Actor-turned-politician Vijayakant won the Tamil Nadu assembly elections in 2011. The actor couldn't continue his studies after Standard XII as he had to join his father in the rice mills.
5.J Jayalalitha:
Another actress who ventured into politics is J Jayalalitha. The former actress was a brilliant student and even received a scholarship to continue her studies after matriculation. But she declined it because she wanted to start her career in films.
6. Golma Devi:
The wife of Kirori Lal Meena (the leader of the Meena Community), Golma Devi became an MLA because of her husband’s connections. Do you know that she couldn't even read her own oath in the swearing ceremony? She has never been to school and is barely literate.
7. Karunanidhi:
The former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has never been to college. He did not study beyond Standard X. But he has a great talent in writing and has written many screenplays for Tamil films.
8. Vatal Nagaraj:
The Kannada Challuvalli Vatal Paksha president, Vatal Nagaraj is a Standard X dropout. Nevertheless, he has contributed a lot to preserving the Kannada culture and glory. He is an ex-MLA from Chamarajnagar.
9. Jaffer Sharief:
The former Railway Minister has only completed his matriculation. He started his career as a driver for the Congress President S Nijalingappa and later followed in his footsteps, joining politics.
